How to Register

1. Click the Register button on the main menu at the top of the page.

2. Enter your Display name – your REAL name.

3. Enter your Email address – must be a valid email – you will receive a confirmation to this email address allowing you to Log in.

4. Enter your Username – no spaces, minimum 4 characters.

5. Enter a Password – minimum 6 characters.

6. Verify your Password.

7. Enter the text within the image.

8. Click Register.

9. Note : If the text in the image is entered incorrectly you will need to start again!

10. To activate your account check your email and click the link within it.

11. You can now enter your Username (NOT display name) and Password – and click Log in.

Add / Update Your Profile Page

Other users see your personal profile page whenever they click on your picture or name on this site.

1. Make sure you are logged in with your username and password.

2. Click Your Profile Page in the very upper left to setup your profile page.

3. Click Edit profile and complete the optional information. Set the Access box to who may view your profile information – Logged in users (members of this website) is the default, or Private (only you), or your Friends (who joined this site), or Public (everyone on the Internet), or Group members in a Celeb Name Group.

4. If you do not add a profile photo (avatar) of yourself ImNOTaCeleb.com will create a Wavatar, an automatically generated user icon based on of your email address. It is randomly generated to be unique for each user.

5. If you want to change your profile photo (avatar or Wavatar) click Edit profile icon in Your Profile and Browse your computer and Upload the picture you would like to use as your profile photo. Make sure the picture is not too big in order to avoid long loading times. The photo will then appear in the lower part of the window, where you can click and drag a square to choose the clipping that will become your actual profile photo (avatar). Click Create your avatar to save your choice.

6. Click Edit page to rearrange your profile page – drag widgets to display your stories, photos and videos etc. on your page.

7. You can let people know what you’re doing on ImNOTaCeleb.com by adding so-called 'Widgets' – small boxes showing different kinds of activity to your profile page. To do so, click the grey 'Edit page' box on the right site of the profile page.

8. Drag the widget you would like to show on your profile page from the widget gallery to the column where you would like to make them appear. Pointing with the mouse over the 'small blue-and-white “i” icon' will provide you with a short explanation about each widget.

9. Don’t forget to click Save.

10. After saving, you can also determine, who will be able to see the respective widget – whether they are private, accessible to all logged-in users, or public. To do so, click Edit near the widget name.

Celeb Name Groups

1. Visit a Celeb Name Group and click Join Group to become a member of the group.
2. Any group member can publish or edit information on the Celeb Name Groups page. You can set items to be viewed only by your group.
3. Anyone can create a Celeb Name Group to share information about your famous name.
4. Click Celeb Name Groups then Create a new group. You can set if anyone can join, or only people you approve.

Members and Friends

1. Click Members on the menu bar and then any member's avatar (picture) or name to read their profile.

2. Click Send a message to send a personal message within this website.

3. Click Add friend to make them a friend of yours. You can make someone your friend even if they don't make you their friend. (Tip: Only your friends can read a particular story, photos, etc. whenever you set its Access to Friends instead of all Logged In Users.)

Write a Story (Blog)

1. Click the Stories (Blogs) button on the main menu at the top of the page.

2. Click Write a story in the left column.

3. Enter your Title and write your Story text.

4. In Tags put search words separated by commas – describing what your article is about.

5. In the left column set the Access box to who may view your story – Logged in users (members of this website) is the default, or Private (only you), or your Friends (who joined this site), or Public (everyone on the Internet), or Group members in a Celeb Name Group.

6. Optional : Restrict other users from commenting on your story by unchecking the Allow comments box.

7. Click Publish in the left column.

Photos (Albums)

1. Click the Photos button on the main menu at the top of the page.

2. Click Create new album in the left column.

3. Write a Title for your album, a short Description, and add any search Tags that describe your photos (separate search phrases by commas).

4. Set the Access box to who may view your album – Logged in users (members of this website) is the default, or Private (only you), or your Friends (who joined this site), or Public (everyone on the Internet). If you are making an album within a Celeb Name Group on this website, you may also choose to only share it with Group members.

5. Click Save.

6. On the Upload Images screen click Browse to add find a photo on your PC to add to your gallery. You can add up to 10 photos. Later you can return to Edit your album to add more photos, delete photos etc.

7. Click Save.

8. You now have the option to Edit Image Properties and write a Title for your album, a Caption, add any search Tags that describes your photo (separate search phrases by commas) and Make image album cover?

9. Click Save.

Videos

1. First upload your video to http://www.YouTube.com (or find any video there you wish to share). Copy the URL (web address) that goes to your video (you can copy it by highlighting the full URL and press CTRL-C keys at the same time).

2. Click the Videos button on the main menu at the top of the page.

3. Click Add new video at the left.

4. Paste the URL you copied from YouTube into the Video URL box (press CTRL-V keys to paste it).

5. Enter the Title for the video.

6. OK to skip Thumbnail (or add your own image to replace the one from YouTube.com).

7. Enter the Description for the video.

8. Set the Access box to who may view your video – Logged in users (members of this website) is the default, or Private (only you), or your Friends (who joined this site), or Public (everyone on the Internet), or Group members in a Celeb Name Group.

9. Enter search Tags that describe the video, separated by commas.

10. Click Save.

Forum

1. To view our Forum or submit to it you must be a registered member.
2. Like Twitter, you can write a 140 character message which displays to everyone on the site.
3. Click Forum in the menu bar.
4. Have real time chats on our Forum.
